Pforzheim is a short distance city. You can go on foot from the apartment to the language school and company or use the well-developed public transport network.

Our trainees stay either with a host family or in a flat-sharing community and cater for themselves. And so the trainee can quickly take part in German everyday life, gain a direct insight into the Pforzheim culture and improve his or her language skills. Initially communication can be facilitated using English.

The hosts are carefully selected by SIM Europe and are all interested in an active exchange with their foreign trainees. The accommodation is regularly controlled for hygiene and safety. The hosts are well versed and can give inside tips and advice about the local infrastructure or shopping and recreation opportunities.
The trainees are housed in single or double rooms with kitchen usage. In most families the bathroom is shared. Towels and bedding are provided by the hosts.

The guests have their own key and can come and go as they please. Mutual respect and agreement, for example regarding the kitchen, ensure a positive living together.

Half board with breakfast and dinner can additionally be booked if requested. There is also the possibility for groups wishing to live together to be housed in communal accommodation.
